Motivational: Success-Friendly Habits You Must Develop

Most often when bad habits are mentioned our minds often race to those wild oats planted or are still being planted such as smoking , drugging , womanizing, keeping late nights, you know them. Yes these habits can really be dangerous and destructive. But apart from these there are some indulgences that are not necessarily dangerous but are not helpful either. I was just saying to myself . There are really many seemingly innocent habits that can deal a deadly blow to our dreams and goals in life. I loved watching television like crazy. In short I just watch even when I don’t enjoy what is being shown or my brain is screaming for rest. I can kill almost a whole day in front of the screen.I wasn’t also very good at keeping to time either.Something about habits and success is that you can’t continue to live in a particular way and then expect to achieve a result different from what had been the case.
Do you know that some habits make you well positioned to achieving set goals and realising your dreams?

1.Positive Affirmation: You can never be what you can’t believe you can be . You cannot realise a dream you perceive as unrealisable. One unique thing about positive affirmation is that its efficacy is independent of diverse views others may have . It is all about what you can believe for ; what you can grab with your faith .Positive Affirmation of God’s words for you does two things:
It does something to our human spirit . It prepares and strengths your spirit to serve as the incubator that will carry this unborn dream till its physically manifestation.
As you align your words with God’s words for your life. You develop and build your faith . You unleash this faith on the daunting circumstance .Those impassable paths soon begins to pave a way for you to pass on.

Other success-habits derive their strength from positive affirmation. Once your spirit is strong enough to carry the dream it forces the body and the mind to align themselves towards achieving set goals . It enforces the taming and disciplining of the body and mind needed for them to match up to the spirit.

2. Maximization of Time: Time is the most indispensable ,priceless asset but also the most unappreciated . Nobody who is really serious about achieving set goals toy with this asset. Why? Because dream doesn’t just manifest itself. You live it in time bit by bit, second by second until the big picture shows. Every other asset , money, land , knowledge, that you may have are brought into their full maximization by the virtue of their application over time. What you are today is a result of what you applied your time to yesterday. If you apply your time wisely such that it is used for things that will bring out the best in you , then the result is a person well positioned on the path of success. If it is applied lousily, on just anything that appeals to your fancy then do not grudge about a tomorrow that is not what you so desire . So watch out how long you spend in front of that screen , on petty tale-telling , chatting , those time-wasting indulgences that is not taking you anywhere.

3. Punctuality: Lateness I always call the thief of time. Can you imagine the energy dissipated to make amend when late for work or a meeting? Not to mention the amount of time it takes you to key in and reconnect. Whenever I appear in front of the office gate then, so late , with all the tension inside of me , I feel ashamed for failing again to create the right impression about myself . I didn’t like the sense of lousiness and the last thing I would want at that time was to see any of my managers . I may excuse myself with all sorts of reasons . But it still doesn’t remove the fact that lateness puts one in a bad light .Punctuality is the soul of any business. No matter the nature of the business . No matter the nature of the relationship whether an employee to employer relationship, business to business or business to customers. Lateness gives an impression of lousiness, unseriousness and inefficiency. And nobody what to do business with someone perceived as such.

4. Diligence: Doing what should be done when it should be done. Procrastination is an enemy to your dream. I call it the thief of dream. Let me put it this way . if you planned to start doing something that you hope will get you to achieve a set goal but never get yourself to sit down and start doing it. Bearing in mind that you don’t suddenly wake up to a dream. You actually live it bit by bit , until the big bang picture appears . Postponing to do what should be done , day after day, week after week, month after month , then year after year, simply make the dream you so desire unrealisable.
The winner mindset set in motion the development of success-friendly habits. And you can’t go beyond the right habits formed. Be Inspired
